Your new hairpiece is made of synthetic material and should be treated with synthetic hair care products only.
Use a wide tooth comb to comb your new style. You may want to fluff the hair from the tight packaging for shipping purposes. Do not comb the gelled or tight curly hair, the curls will pull apart and look frizzy.
Store hairpieces in their hair net, packaging bags or in a box, in a drawer or let hang.
Wash hair in synthetic wig shampoo as often as needed in cool water. Squirt small amount of wig shampoo in cool water in sink or basin and let soak for ten minutes. Rinse hairpiece thoroughly in cool water.
Do not use your fingers, a comb, brush, or pick-out hairpiece when it is wet, wait until it is dry to comb.
Spray hairpiece with conditioner. (Conditioner may also be used weekly on dry hairpieces to keep soft & looking great.)
Dry your hair piece by rolling it up in a towel to gently blot water out. Hang hairpiece up to air dry.
After hairpiece is dry, you may use your wide tooth comb to restyle. You may use your fingers to re-style & re-form tighter curls. (The super set gel product is good for this).
Never use heat on the hairpiece (hot rollers, curling irons, blow dryers etc...) Heat will melt the hair. Your hairpiece will not lose its curl or shape if you take proper care of it. Style your hairpiece. Only synthetic hair spray may be used on the hairpiece. Synthetic hair spray will not damage your own human hair. |
